‘Oyster’ lounge chair designed by Pierre Paulin in 1954 and produced by Artifort in The Netherlands. Model F157.

The design of this comfortable lounge chair is inspired by an oyster. Not only does it look like one, it also gives you the feeling of sitting inside shell, which makes it very cosy. It is upholstered in a soft turquoise / grey wool. The upholstery is a bit loose and not glued to the foam, but this is hardly visible and has no impact on the comfort or quality of the chair. Early edition with nickel plated frame.

Dimensions (h x w x d): 86 x 91 x 75cm
